The makers come together weekly or fortnightly in their local groups around the country to enjoy each other’s company, a cuppa, and to make beautiful beanies that warm heads and hearts and give them purpose. They swap finished beanies for wool and new patterns to keep them busy until the next catch up.

This winter the focus has been on beanies which are sold on a ‘buy one – give one’ model, so for each beanie sold by Spacecraft one is given to a homeless or elderly person in need with the help of our partners in Taupo.
