Teeny tiny Bilobata is one for those who love their hoya on the petite side. She has a cute leaf that’s around 3cm x 2cm that is a nice mid green colour with a slightly darker edge and light green mid-rib. The underside of the leaf is more white than green in colour. When grown in brighter light or under artificial lighting, Hoya bilobata leaves have a beautiful pink blush.
Hailing from the Philippines, Hoya bilobata is a warmer loving hoya who prefers temperatures between 15-35 degrees. Hoya bilobata’s flower is one of the Revolute types of hoya flower. In simpler terms, this means it has a button like flower that droops down in a suspended fashion.
Hoya bilobata is a fast growing hoya when placed in a warmer spot. It has a compact habit and is a prolific producer of leaves. It’s a wonderful hoya if you are short on space because it doesn’t take up a lot of space, is particularly pretty when its leaves blush, and has the cutest raspberry pink button flowers with a yellow centre.
We have to add that the flowers are teeny tiny and are best described as delightfully dainty.
