What is merino fleece? 

The Babu merino fleece is a unique fabric that was first developed in 2015 and has been improving each year. The fabric looks and feels like soft sweatshirting on the outside, and has a beautiful brushed and fluffy finish on the inside. Consisting of 83% merino wool, and 17% elastane, the Babu fleece is a Woolmark certified wool rich blend. The elastane has been an improvement they’ve made to the fabric over recent years, to provide a comfortable stretch. How do I wash merino fleece?

• For the first few washes, turn the item inside out and shake free any loose fluff.
• Wash separately on a cold wool wash or delicate cycle (30°C max) with liquid wool detergent- using wool detergents is very important to maintain the quality of your merino!
• Air dry by hanging or laying flat.
• Do not soak, bleach or hot iron.
